Lawyers of Distinction is a prestigious award given to only a very select few every year. This year it is the privilege and honor to present the Dawson Law Firm and Orlando Ortiz with this honor. It is something to hold in highest regard.
The Dawson Law Firm of Southern Florida excels in accident and personal injury cases with exceptional delivery on client claims and awards. The firm has three branches in Southern Florida to assist the greatest number of clients with their claims. Client satisfaction is a big deciding factor in whether the Lawyers of Distinction award can be considered for a firm.
As for Mr. Ortiz, his vast experience in practicing law and his dedication to clients is outstanding. His track record speaks for itself, including his service to the Miami-Dade state attorney’s office where he prosecuted and tried numerous felony and misdemeanor cases.
The Dawson Law Firm focuses on cases of personal injury, particularly motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, and other less common personal injury cases. No matter what kind of injury, clients should know what their legal rights are, and how much compensation they are entitled to. Dawson Law Firm seeks to garner the highest possible amount of compensation for its accident victims, making them a preferred law firm among South Florida accident victims.
Lawyers of Distinction uses both objective and subjective criteria to make its determination for awards. The criteria is varied, and it is difficult to know what lawyers and law firms have to do to meet those criteria. As such, it makes the prestigious award an even greater achievement for those that receive it.
Individual lawyers in a firm, such as Mr. Ortiz, are intensely scrutinized before Lawyers of Distinction makes its decision. The designation of this award is not to be associated with any state bar association, or the D.C. Bar Association for lawyers practicing in Washington, D.C..
Mr. Ortiz is a gifted and talented lawyer with decades of experience in the both the defense of victims and the prosecution of those charged in criminal cases. He serves the majority of Southern Florida with his license to practice accident, personal injury, and criminal law. Although a prior Chicago native, Mr. Ortiz has claimed this part of Florida home for the last thirty years.
After achieving his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University Law School, Mr. Ortiz first served in the public attorney’s office and then branched out to work in other law firms. He has had a valid license to practice law in the State of Florida since 2002, and has tried over sixty cases in that almost-twenty-year time span.
When he is not working on a case, Mr. Ortiz currently enjoys quiet time at home with his wife and two children and their dog Ginger.
